Benefits

A layer-based animation studio for SVG

Animate SVG layers independently

Give each logo part, icon shape or SVG group its own preset, duration, delay, easing and playback order without losing the other animations.

Sequence motion on a visual timeline

Reorder animated layers and choose whether each track starts with the previous one or after it, with additional delay for precise timing.

Export for web, apps and video

Generate animated SVG, transparent Lottie JSON or MP4 video, with browser-local processing and export previews.

How it works

How to animate an SVG online

  1. 1Upload an SVG, paste SVG markup or load the built-in demo.
  2. 2Select the whole SVG or an individual layer, then choose a motion preset and adjust duration, delay, easing and looping.
  3. 3Add more animated layers, reorder their tracks and choose With previous or After previous to build the sequence.
  4. 4Preview the composition, choose an export canvas such as 1:1, 9:16 or 16:9 when available, then generate animated SVG, Lottie or MP4.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I animate a logo SVG online?

Yes. SVG Animation Studio includes reveal, scale, draw, bounce, pulse, float and sequential effects designed for vector logos, icons and illustrations.

Can I animate SVG layers separately?

Yes. Each selectable SVG element or group can keep its own animation settings. You can animate another layer without removing the motion already assigned to previous layers.

Can I control the order of SVG animations?

Yes. Animated layers are placed on a timeline where you can reorder tracks, start a layer with the previous one or after it, and add an extra delay for finer sequencing.

What formats can I export?

The Studio can generate animated SVG, Lottie JSON and MP4 video. Animated SVG stays vector-based; Lottie keeps a transparent composition; standard MP4 requires a background color.

Which aspect ratios can I use for video and Lottie?

Raster exports can use standard 1:1, 9:16 and 16:9 canvases with a motion-safe margin so animated artwork has room to move without being cropped.

Does my SVG get uploaded?

The supported animation and export workflow is designed to run locally in your browser, so your source SVG does not need to be sent to the application server.

Will animation work on every SVG?

Most standard vector SVGs work well. Extremely complex documents, unusual embedded content or unsupported elements may be simplified or rejected for safety.

Can I animate SVG without writing CSS or JavaScript?

Yes. SVG Animation Studio lets you apply motion presets, timing, easing and sequencing visually. The exported result can then be used without manually building the animation from scratch.

What is the difference between CSS, SMIL and JavaScript SVG animation?

CSS is useful for style and transform animations, SMIL provides native declarative SVG animation in supporting browsers, and JavaScript gives the most control for interaction and complex timelines. A visual studio can simplify common motion without requiring you to author those techniques manually.

What is SVG path or draw animation?

Draw animation reveals a stroked SVG path progressively, commonly by animating stroke-dasharray and stroke-dashoffset. It is useful for line icons, signatures and outline logos.

Should I export an animation as animated SVG, Lottie or MP4?

Use animated SVG when you want a web-native vector result, Lottie when an app or motion workflow supports Lottie JSON, and MP4 when you need a broadly compatible video file for social, presentations or editing.
